my (sonic) ethos

Whilst every journey to flow & blossom is unique,

there are stages we each move through to come into balance.

I believe we can nurture our deep truth to create light freedom;

using our stuckness as a vessel for growth and transformation,

we can blossom even in the face of difficulty.

My wish is to help you plant the seeds of change, so you can slowly become whole,

in harmonious balance with your soul. To live life free and authentically, is what I desire to inspire.

In our sessions, while building an authentic connection, we find the words to give voice to the story of your hurt. Safely held in a warm and confidential space, we honor what was, what is, and what will be.

Our work becomes like a mysterious dance; we balance through acceptance,

deeply experiencing the non-linear art of becoming whole.

Rather than analysing and pathologising, we understand, dissolve and transcend what no longer serves you, finding a new way of being You.

sound to facilitate awareness & processing, while bringing coherence and harmony back to your energetic field

Music facilitates expanded states of consciousness, reaching depths within the psyche that words alone cannot. The psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung realised this back in 1977:

“I feel that from now on music should be a part of every analysis. This reaches the deep archetypal material that we can only sometimes reach in our analytic work with patients. This is most remarkable” (p.275)

Music & Sound have the potential to delve deep into our psyche, freeing us to feel what we usually are not free to feel, while also facilitating the processing of unresolved trauma. When we deep listen to music, we allow sound to touch the core of our mind, body, and spirit; opening up a healing portal where sonic vibrations can gently free us from anything that feels stuck, disconnected, or needs to be released by facilitating an altered state of consciousness (ASC). Spending time in ASC has been proven to promote cellular healing by lowering stress hormones and blood pressure, facilitating deep relaxation, and encouraging a softening of the ego state. This results in increased unified thinking, self-awareness, creativity, peace, balance, and joy.

I work with ancient and modern technologies to offer a truly unique (and psychedelic) sound therapy experience. In our sessions, I play planetary gongs, Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, shamanic Instruments, and weighted + unweighted tuning forks. I also use Ableton Live to create soundscapes with specific frequencies. These healing drones facilitate the restructuring and reorganisation of the quantum state of the cells in our body, which determines our emotional state, promoting a shift in the energetic field from chaos to harmony.

I am also a trained Wavepaths practitioner— a generative music software born from the research of neuroscientist Mendel Kaelen on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics at Imperial College London. Wavepaths allows me to design a musical journey emotionally attuned to you. In our musical sessions, sound becomes the therapist (Kaelen et al., 2018) – together we share the listening experience, welcoming, being with, and integrating what arises.

What is integration?

Music, breathwork, and other altered states of consciousness methods have the power to undo the many layers that disconnect us from our true Self. They can help us to reconnect with the Truth, both personal and universal, offering us insights and epiphanies. Integration is the magick art of weaving these breakthroughs into your everyday life, finding meaningful and long-lasting ways to embody the truth discovered while in expanded states of consciousness, thus guarding it against the erosion of time and the need to chase back the original experience. This is the real work that leads to change and transformation.
